BC's first Hereford breeders club located in the Southern Interior of British Columbia. This club hosted the CHA AGM in 2005 and has an active membership that also contributes to shows and sales. One of this club's breeders hosts a major sale of females in the fall and bulls in the spring.

Located in the mid central portion of BC and including the Kootenays, this club hosts the Salmon Arm Hereford Challenge each year and it members contribute to many shows and sales throughout the province. One member from the Kootenays holds a popular bull sale each February.

Encompassing the Fraser Valley and Vancouver Island, this club boasts hosting the longest running consignment sale in Canada and possibly North America. For 38 years the West Coast Hereford Club has been sponsoring the Evergreen Sale in May. This tradition will be coming to an end in 2007 with the annual sale shifting to a fall sale. The club is still active with members owning part of or all of many significant breeding animals that contribute to the Hereford breed. Look for an interesting sale in the fall of 2007.

Located in Central British Columbia and stretching from the Queen Charlotte Islands to McBride, west to east and 100 Mile House to MacKenzie, north to south, this club has an active membership. Although it is a young club in years, the members have years of knowledge in marketing and breeding. They hosted the Yellowhead Select Sale for eleven years up until this year when the members decided they could not come up with the required numbers and a new market has been .sought. This club is also active in bull testing with active participation in the Fort Fraser Bull Test Station.
